Avec ce choix de premier single, la décision de brouiller les pistes est prise et révèle la face sombre et agressive du nouvel album composé et produit avec Vorace. Ce titre écrit pendant le premier confinement est un des plus court que Töfie ait jamais sorti. Il est un point culminant d'anxiété inspiré d’un titre de « Autopsie d’une ombre » un projet quasi confidentiel d'EBM Goth. Gothyou est une envie irrépressible de sortir, de crier son indépendance, la liberté de s'auto-détruire pour renaître de ses cendres. Le clip témoigne d'une proximité des corps oppressante et qui reflète pourtant le spectre lumineux, dans un environnement clos et obscur.
